History
The E-Business Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as E-lab) is a sub-organizational unit of the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, established to implement educational, research, and scientific activities in the field of Business Informatics. E-lab was created following the example of similar laboratories in the region (such as, for example, the laboratory at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade), which provide the basis and framework for implementing various student activities, applying business and technological achievements through practice, strengthening cooperation with industry—especially companies from the IT sector—and facilitating the use of the latest software solutions in economics and in business theory and practice.
In addition, E-lab was established as a support mechanism for the new study program Business Informatics at the Faculty of Economics, a program unique of its kind in broder Banja Luka region
